Costume Rental Agreement

  •                                                     Terms and Conditions
    §  Return Date – The Client shall return the costume on the agreed return date. Renz Costumes will provide a grace period of not more than two dates from the Return Date for the client to return the costume.
    §   Late Return Penalty - As delay in the return of the Costume is detrimental to the business of Renz Costumes, a daily penalty of 15% of the total rental fee shall accrue from the date the grace period expires until the costume is returned to Renz Costumes. 
    §  Condition of the Costume Upon Return –Client is not required to wash the costume. However, Client agrees to return the Costume in good condition, absent any damaging stains, soil, tears, or other similar damage to the material,otherwise, Client shall be charged of all handling costs. Similarly, the complete set of the Costume must be returned. Client shall shoulder the cost of any missing item in the amount equivalent to the full value of such.
    §  Rented “As Is” – Client agrees that the Costume is rented on an “As Is” basis.
    §  Costume Alterations- Any alterations to the Costume is prohibited. Alterations includes dyeing, cutting, distressing, or any similar alterations, otherwise,the Client will be liable to pay the amount equivalent to the full value of the costume altered. However, than alteration may be restored without causing damaged may be allowed, after a written approval from Renz Costumes is procured. In such case, the altered costume must be restored to its original condition upon the return of the same.
    §   Other Obligations of the Client –The Client is prohibited from lending the costume to a Third Party. The Costume must remain in the premises of the Client. The Costume shall be kept in a dry,safe, and secure location at all times.
    §   Presumption of Fault - The Client assumes responsibility for the loss and/or damage of the Costume, even when such is caused by fire, flood, earthquake, theft, among other similar causes. The loss and/or damage of the Costume in the possession of the Client shall be presumed that such loss and/or damaged was due to the fault of the Client in accordance with the law. Consequently, the Client shall pay Renz Costumes the amount equivalent to the full value of the costume. As for negligence, Renz Costumes reserved the right to post Irresponsible Clients in their site or page but promised to take down once settled.  
    §  Shipping Option– Client agrees to pay all the shipping charges if they choose to ship the costumes for return. Deposits will be sent thru Palawan after we received the shipped costumes. If sent on the date agreed, we will return the complete amount of deposit. For late returns, charges applied and be deducted on the deposit.
    §  Deposits and Reservations– A Security Deposit is an additional charge that is required only for New Clients and Regular Clients with frequent late return record. Loyal and regular clients are excluded but not for Reservation fee. Reservation fee of P200 is deductable on rental fee but non-refundable for cancelled reservations.
    §  Rental Fees – All rental fees and deposits must be paid for before the costume leaves the store.
    §  Cancellation of Rental –After the Costume was fitted and properly endorsed to the Client, there will be NO refunds,exchanges, or store credits given for early return on rented item(s). However,if Client decides to cancel the rental of the same for acceptable reason, Renz Costumes shall return the amount equivalent to 50% of the Rental Fee paid upon the return of the Costume. However, the return of the 50% deposit is not applicable on MTO orders since the materials are purchased already.
